Diagnostic Vascular Ultrasounds

Vascular ultrasounds are noninvasive tests healthcare providers use to evaluate blood flow in the arteries and veins almost anywhere in the body. Providers use this test to diagnose blood clots and peripheral artery disease. You may also have this test to see if you’re a good candidate for angioplasty or to check blood vessel health after bypass.

Carotid Duplex

A carotid duplex is performed to evaluate symptoms including dizziness, loss of memory, stroke, loss of muscle control, and other symptoms that might result from narrowing or blockage of the vessels (carotid arteries) on either side of your neck. This ultrasound can also be used to screen for stroke risk.

$499

Bilateral Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex

This ultrasound uses sound waves to create a color map of the arteries in both of your legs to identify narrowing of your vessels that may cause leg pain when walking, resting leg pain, foot, ankle, heel or toe ulcers, or skin discoloration. It is also used to follow up stenting or grafts.

$349

Unilateral Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex

This ultrasound uses sound waves to create a color map of the arteries in one of your legs to identify narrowing of your vessels that may cause leg pain when walking, resting leg pain, foot, ankle, heel or toe ulcers, or skin discoloration. It is also used to follow up stenting or grafts.

$199

Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)

This study compares the blood pressure in your ankles to the blood pressure in your arms. Your provider may order it by itself or in conjunction with a Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex.

$399

Bilateral Upper Extremity Arterial Duplex

This study is used to evaluate the arteries in both of your arms for possible narrowing or blockage.

$249

Unilateral Upper Extremity Arterial Duplex

This study is used to evaluate the arteries in one of your arms for possible narrowing or blockage.

$249

Abdominal Aorta Screening

A non-invasive test to evaluate the abdominal aorta, most commonly for an aneurysm. This is often ordered for individuals with a family history of an AAA or men over the age of 65 who have ever smoked.

$449

Bilateral Renal Artery Duplex

A detailed non-invasive evaluation of blood flow to and from each kidney. Common reasons your provider might order this are uncontrolled/unexplained hypertension or diabetes.

$349

Transplant Kidney Duplex

This is a targeted study used to evaluate the blood flow to your transplant kidney and to assess potential problems including loss of blood supply to a portion of your kidney or kidney rejection.

$349

Bilateral Lower Extremity Venous Duplex

This procedure is performed to evaluate symptoms including leg pain or swelling, excessive varicose veins, shortness of breath, or suspected blood clots in both of your legs.

$249

Unilateral Lower Extremity Venous Duplex

This procedure is performed to evaluate symptoms including leg pain or swelling, excessive varicose veins, shortness of breath, or suspected blood clots in one of your legs.

$349

Bilateral Upper Extremity Venous Duplex

This procedure is performed to evaluate symptoms including arm pain or swelling, shortness of breath, or suspected blood clots in both of your arms.

$249

Unilateral Upper Extremity Venous Duplex

This procedure is performed to evaluate symptoms including arm pain or swelling, shortness of breath, or suspected blood clots in one of your arms.

$249

Hemodialysis/Fistula Duplex

This study images a dialysis fistula or graft to evaluate for maturity and functionality.
