All Diagnostic Ultrasounds
Whether to evaluate a pregnancy or assess a medical problem, your provider orders ultrasound exams for one reason: diagnostic accuracy. And that accuracy depends not merely on the technology being used but also the performance of the exam itself. In other words, because an ultrasound exam is the basis for appropriate and effective medical care, it needs to be conducted with knowledge and skill. At Lewis Clark Imaging, we bring that skill to all types of ultrasound exams.
Abdominal
$349
Complete Abdomen
A noninvasive test to assess the solid organs within the abdomen. This includes the abdominal aorta, inferior vena cava, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, bile ducts, kidneys, and spleen.
$199
Liver
A targeted diagnostic tool for evaluating the liver; it can help assess the presence of liver disease (such as fatty liver), detect liver lesions, and much more.
$199
Gallbladder
This ultrasound produces pictures of the gallbladder and bile ducts. It shows signs of inflammation or indications that there is blockage of bile flow. Ultrasound is the most common test performed to evaluate gallbladder abnormalities.
$199
Spleen
A splenic ultrasound is used to examine the size of the spleen and determine whether it is crowding other organs. It can detect splenomegaly otherwise known as an enlarged spleen.
$199
Right Upper Quadrant
A right upper quadrant (RUQ) ultrasound may be ordered for right upper abdomen pain. This ultrasound evaluates the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, right kidney, and the uppermost portion of the aorta and inferior vena cava.
$199
Limited Abdomen
A limited abdominal ultrasound may be ordered to follow-up on a single organ. It is often ordered for a single quadrant, such as the right upper quadrant (RUQ) for right upper abdomen pain. When this is ordered, a healthcare provider is more interested in a specific organ, system, or area.
$199
Appendix
This is a targeted exam to look for the appendix. Often better seen in the pediatric population, ultrasound is great tool and first step when considering acute appendicitis as there is no radiation involved in testing.
$199
Hernia Evaluation
Your provider may order an ultrasound if you have pain or other symptoms associated with a hernia, but no hernia or mass is palpable. It may also be used to gauge any changes in an existing hernia.
$199
Pylorus Evaluation
This is a targeted exam to look the pylorus in infants (typically under 8 weeks old) with projectile vomiting.
$249
Abdominal Aorta Screening
A non-invasive test to evaluate the abdominal aorta, most commonly for an aneurysm. This is often ordered for individuals with a family history of an AAA or men over the age of 65 who have ever smoked.
$299
Kidney/Retroperitoneal Complete
This type of ultrasound exam looks at both kidneys and the bladder; it is used to detect a mass, cyst, kidney stone or other obstruction in the kidney.
$349
Transplant Kidney Duplex
This is a targeted study used to evaluate the blood flow to your transplant kidney and to assess potential problems including loss of blood supply to a portion of your kidney or kidney rejection.
$199
Bladder
A targeted ultrasound of the urinary bladder with pre and post void volumes (a measurement of how much urine is in the bladder when it is full and after emptying).
$449
Bilateral Renal Artery Duplex
A detailed, non-invasive evaluation of blood flow to and from each kidney. Common reasons your provider might order this are uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes.
Gynecological (not pregnant)
Complete Pelvis
Transabdominal and Transvaginal Approach
Evaluation of the entire female pelvis including the uterus, ovaries, and areas on each side of the pelvis (adnexa). Transabdominal and transvaginal imaging are considered complimentary and when done together offer the best visualization of structures in the pelvis. Commonly ordered for the evaluation of cysts, masses, polyps, fibroids, and much more.
$549
$299
Transabdominal Pelvis
Only utilizing a transabdominal (on top) approach to evaluate the female pelvis including the uterus, ovaries, and areas on each side of the pelvis (adnexa). This is a great way to visualize pelvic structures but is often not as detailed as a transvaginal ultrasound. Commonly ordered look for cysts, masses, fibroids, and much more.
$349
Transvaginal Pelvis
Only utilizing a transvaginal (internal) approach to evaluate the female pelvis including the uterus, ovaries, and areas on each side of the pelvis (adnexa). This imaging technique allows for better detailed visualization. Commonly ordered to evaluate for cysts, masses, fibroids, polyps, IUD placement, and much more. Transvaginal imaging is only done with patient consent.
Follicular Study, Follow Up
Same IVF Cycle
Targeted transvaginal (internal) exam of the endometrium (uterine lining) and ovaries. This is a follow up to a pelvic ultrasound in the same fertility cycle.
$199
Obstetrical (pregnant)
$299
OB Less than 14 weeks
(+ $499 total for twins)
Transabdominal (on top) evaluation of the female pelvis with a dedicated look at early pregnancy with imaging of the embryo or fetus, gestational sac, and yolk sac. Transvaginal imaging may also be necessary, especially if less than 8 weeks pregnant (additional charge of $249).
$399
OB Greater than 14 weeks
($599 total for twins)
Dedicated imaging of the female pelvis and fetus 14 weeks and beyond. Most often termed the "anatomy scan" and is ordered routinely between 20 and 22 weeks.
$249
OB Follow Up
($449 total for twins)
Typically ordered to reassess fetal size, to re-evaluate structure(s) that were not well seen previously or to follow up on any fetal organ or system that was noted on a previous ultrasound. This is a common exam in the 3rd trimester if there is a uterine size & dates discrepancy, to follow a previa, or to re-evaluate structures from the anatomy scan.
$249
OB Biophysical Profile (BPP)
($349 total for twins)
This test can be done after the 28th week of pregnancy. It is a timed, 30 minute (per fetus) noninvasive diagnostic test that helps evaluate fetal wellbeing.
$249
OB Transvaginal
Transvaginal (internal) evaluation of the female pelvis with a dedicated look at early pregnancy with imaging of the embryo or fetus, gestational sac, and yolk sac. Transvaginal imaging is often used for accurate measurements if earlier than 8 weeks pregnant.
$199
OB Limited
Dedicated study to evaluate one aspect of the pregnancy. For example to obtain only a fetal heartbeat, only placental location, only fetal position or to only evaluate amniotic fluid level
Arteries
$349
Carotid Duplex
A carotid duplex is performed to evaluate symptoms including dizziness, loss of memory, stroke, loss of muscle control, and other symptoms that might result from narrowing or blockage of the vessels (carotid arteries) on either side of your neck. This ultrasound can also be used to screen for stroke risk.
$499
Bilateral Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex
This ultrasound uses sound waves to create a color map of the arteries in both of your legs to identify narrowing of your vessels that may cause leg pain when walking, resting leg pain, foot, ankle, heel or toe ulcers, or skin discoloration. It is also used to follow up stenting or grafts.
$349
Unilateral Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex
This ultrasound uses sound waves to create a color map of the arteries in one of your legs to identify narrowing of your vessels that may cause leg pain when walking, resting leg pain, foot, ankle, heel or toe ulcers, or skin discoloration. It is also used to follow up stenting or grafts.

$249
Unilateral Upper Extremity Arterial Duplex
This study is used to evaluate the arteries in one of your arms for possible narrowing or blockage.
