Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

We are the only office between Boise and Coeur d'Alene trained in and offering advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound. A real-time, non-invasive imaging technique to assess tendons, muscles, ligaments, and joints. Ideal for sports injuries or chronic pain, this service is often a quicker and more affordable alternative to MRI.

Complete Shoulder

Ready to book your diagnostic ultrasound?

A rotator cuff ultrasound is used to evaluate the muscles and tendons in the shoulder for injuries or abnormalities. During the scan, we look for signs of tendon tears, inflammation, fluid buildup, or calcifications. The ultrasound helps to detect both partial and full-thickness tears in the rotator cuff tendons and assess the condition of surrounding structures like the bursa. It’s a dynamic and non-invasive way to view the shoulder, allowing real-time imaging as you move, which helps pinpoint issues causing pain or limited mobility

Targeted Joint

With the exception of the shoulder, all other joints are imaged with ultrasound using a targeted approach.

Our co-founder and Sonographer, Ivy, is the only trained musculoskeletal sonographer between Boise and CDA. She is 1 of 31 individuals worldwide with her set of credentials in diagnostic ultrasound.
